Diagnosis
<p>Sections show diffuse infiltrate of intermediate-sized rounded cells with non-cleaved nuclei with many very occasional histiocytes imparting starry sky pattern. Anaplasia is moderate. Picture is consistent with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (possibilities include Burkitt's and lymphoblastic lymphoma). Confirmation and subtyping by marker study (CD20, CD79a, CD3, CD10, TdT and Ki67) is needed.</p>
<p>Generalized lymphadenopathy. ? Lymphoma.</p>
<p>Core fragments of collective length 1.6 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Cervical lymph node, core biopsy: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Atypical lymphoid infiltrate, consistent with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, (possibilities include lymphoblastic lymphoma and Burkitt's lymphoma). </strong></li><li><strong>Recommended for confirmation and subtyping by marker study.</strong></li></ul>
