Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">A benign tumor formed of bundles of proliferating fibroblastic meningothelial cells with focal whorling. Cytoplasm is scanty and cell borders are ill-defined. In other areas, tumor cells have eosinophilic and abundant cytoplasm and cell borders are ill-defined. Scattered psammoma bodies are evident. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. This is a WHO grade I meningioma.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Foramen magnum mass attached to an artery and lower cranial structures.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 3.5x2.8x0.8 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Foramen magnum mass, excision:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Fibrous / Meningothelial meningioma (WHO grade I).</strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
