Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Polypoid lesion composed of hyperplastic endocervical mucous glands and covered by focally ulcerated columnar endocervical epithelium. Stroma is fibrotic and vascular and shows marked infiltration by inflammatory cells with related areas of squamous metaplasia. No evidence of endometrial tissue. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Moderate cervical erosion with endocervical polyp.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Only one polypoid soft tissue fragment was received measured 0.8x0.7x0.3 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Cervical polyp, excision:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Inflamed hyperplastic endocervical polyp. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
