<p class="ql-align-justify">Thyroid nodule shows a benign tumor composed of small follicular formations lined by active follicular cells with a small amount of colloid in the majority of follicles. Separating stroma is delicate and vascular. No evidence of vascular invasion or panmural capsular infiltration.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Rt. solitary thyroid nodule suspected follicular lesion by ultrasound.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Rt. hemithyroidectomy with intact capsule measured 3.5x3x2 cm. Serial sectioning revealed almost replacement by greyish nodule measured 3 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rt. hemithyroidectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Follicular adenoma.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
