Sixteen lymph node show preserved normal nodal pattern and hyperplasia of the lymphoid follicles which retain active and intact germinal centers with tingible body macrophages. Sinuses are expanded by numerous benign histiocytes consistent with sinus histiocytosis. There is associated inflammatory cell infiltrate in subcapsular areas of lymph node with extension into perinodal fibrofatty tissue. No evidence of specific granulomas.No evidence of malignancy.
There is mild parenchymal atrophy of salivary tissue with periductal infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. Focally acini are replaced by fibrosis. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of malignancy.
Multiple lymphadenopathy.
Salivary gland measured 3.5x3x2 cm, with 7 lymph nodes, largest measuring 1.5x1 cm.
