<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections show a benign tumor with vague lobular appearance, it is formed of a dominant component of mature fat cells with few lipoblasts. Separating stroma is fibrotic and vascular. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Arm mass.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Fatty soft tissue piece measured 13x10x5.5 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Arm mass, excision:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Lipoblastoma.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>COMMENT:</u></strong></p><p>This tumor is benign, however local recurrence is reported in 9-22% of cases.</p>
