Myometrial tumor are benign leiomyomas formed of whorly bundles of mature smooth muscles separated by a fibrous stroma. Endometrium is hyperplastic and non-secretory. It is formed of mildly cystic glands separated by cellular stroma and lined by 1-2 layers of cells. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Cervix show Nabothian cysts with mild endocervicitis and squamous metaplasia. Ovaries show cystic follicles and corpus luteum. Fallopian tubes are unremarkable. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.

Panhysterectomy specimen; Uterus measured 11 x 10.5 x 6 cm with a 3 cm myometrium and 0.5 cm of endometrial thickening. Cervix is 3 cm long. Right ovary measured 1.5 x 1 x 1 cm. Left ovary measured 2.5 x 2 x 1 cm, showed two unilocular cysts largest measuring 0.8 cm Right fallopian tube measured 5 x 0.5 cm and left fallopian tube measured 6 x 0.5 cm in length. The uterus showed multiple fibroid masses, the largest measuring 5.5 x 5 x 5 cm. Additionally, there is a separate fibroid mass measuring 4 x 3 x 2.8 cm.
