Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium is non-secretory formed of hyperplastic endometrium with moderately branching glands, lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is compact with scattered thick walled blood vessels. No evidence of complex glandular patterns. Islands of these endometrial glands and stroma are seen entrapped deep within myometrium. Lt. ovary shows simple serous cyst. Both ovaries show cystic follicles. Cervix shows mild endocerviciis with napothian cysts and squamous metaplasia. Fallopian tubes are unremarkable. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
<p>Abnormal uterine bleeding.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Panhysterectomy specimen: The uterus measures 9 x 6.5 x 5 cm with a myometrial thickness of 2.5 cm, showing a rubbery (trabeculated) area measuring 1.5 x 1 cm. Endometrial thickness is 1 cm. The cervix measured 3 cm long with a polypoid lesion measuring 0.6 cm. The right ovary measured 2x 1.5 x 1 cm & right tube measures 5 x 0.5 x 0.5 cm; the left ovary measures 3 x 2 x 2 cm and showing a cyst measured 2.5 cm. Right & left tube measures 5.5 cm and 5 cm, respectively.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Panhysterectomy:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Moderate simple endometrial hyperplasia.</strong></li><li><strong>Deep adenomyosis.</strong></li><li><strong>Cervical non specific endocervicitis with naupathia cysts.</strong></li><li><strong>Lt. ovarian simple serous cysts. </strong></li><li><strong>Bilateral ovarian cystic follicles. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia or malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
