<p class="ql-align-justify">Tonsil shows hyperplasia of the mucosal associated lymphoid follicles which retain active and intact germinal centers with tingible body macrophages. Interfollicular and pericyptal areas show infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of malignancy</p>
<p>Rt. tonsillar biopsy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragment measured 3x2x1.2 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rt. Tonsil, biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Reactive lymphoid hyperplasia with associated chronic non-specific inflammation (Chronic tonsillitis). </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
