<p class="ql-align-justify">Smear shows abundant dense, overlapping anucleated squamous keratin flakes with folded borders, characteristic of keratinaceous debris. Scattered acute and chronic inflammatory cells are present. No epithelial atypia or malignant cells are identified.</p>
<p>Skull cyst.</p>
<p>One smear was prepared and pap stained from submitted 3 ml pale yellow fluid.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Skull cyst, Fine needle aspiration cytology:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Keratinaceous debris with mild inflammatory changes, consistent with an epidermoid/pilar cyst.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
