Sections reveal mature adipose tissue intersected by dense fibrotic bands, active granulation tissue, and a prominent mixed inflammatory infiltrate of lymphocytes, plasma cells, and neutrophils. Areas of fat necrosis exhibit a lipogranulomatous response characterized by foamy histiocytes and multinucleated foreign-body-type giant cells surrounding extracellular lipid vacuoles. Also present are prominent vascular proliferation, focal hemorrhage, hemosiderin-laden macrophages, and fibrinous debris, consistent with an organizing abscess wall. ىل There is no evidence of cellular atypia or malignancy.
