Benign and highly vascular tumor of pituitary gland origin composed of thick trabeculae of proliferating round to ovoid cells. Focally tumor cells are arranged around blood vessels imparting pseudorosette pattern. Tumor cells are mostly cuboidal with eosinophilic cytoplasm. Areas of interstitial hemorrhage are also seen. No evidence of tumor necrosis or mitosis. No evidence of malignancy.
