Fragments of dense, sclerotic compact bone demonstrate a markedly increased bone-to-marrow ratio. The tissue is composed entirely of mature, well-organized lamellar bone with prominent parallel cement lines indicative of slow, rhythmic osseous deposition. Intervening fibrovascular spaces are narrow, sparse, and contain only quiescent fibrous tissue and inconspicuous capillaries. Embedded osteocytes within lacunae are small, uniform, and cytologically bland. There is no evidence of osteoblastic rimming, hypercellular stroma, immature woven bone, cytological atypia, mitotic activity, necrosis, or malignant osteoid formation.
Rt. retroauricular done shaped sessile lesion if homogeneous osseus density.
Bone fragments collectively measuring 3.5x2.8x0.9 cm, totally embedded.
