<p class="ql-align-justify">Seminiferous tubules in both samples show mild reduction in the number of spermatogenic cells with mild thickening of their basement membranes and complete arrest of maturation dominantly at the spermatocytes level (about 70%).Rest of tubules arrested at spermatids. Mature sperms are not seen. Interstitial cells are intact. No evidence of inflammation.</p>
<p>Azospermia.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Two biopsies were received:</p><p class="ql-align-justify">1- Rt testis: soft tissue fragment measured 0.7x0.5 cm, totally embedded.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">2- Lt testis: soft tissue fragment measured 1x0.7 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Bilateral Testicular, Biopsies:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong> Germ cell hypoplasia with complete maturation arrest (dominantly early).</strong></li></ul><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
