Diagnosis
<p>Malignant tumor composed of diffuse sheets of malignant polygonal and ovoid large cells. Tumor cells have hyperchromatic and amphophilic cytoplasm. Anaplasia and mitoses are marked. Intervening stroma is vascular. Marker study is needed for definitive typing (Heppar-1, Glypican-3, CK7, CK20, CK19, Synaptophysin, chromogranin, Ki-67, LCA & TTF1).</p>
<p>Rt hepatic mass.</p>
<p>Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 0.8 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rt. Hepatic mass, guided core biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Undifferentiated round cell tumor, high grade. </strong></li><li><strong>Recommended for subtyping by marker study (Heppar-1, Glypican-3, CK7, CK20, CK19, Synaptophysin, chromogranin, Ki-67, LCA & TTF1). </strong></li></ul>
