Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Fragmented and superficial material shows gastric mucosa with moderate atrophy of glands and moderate infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. Some neutrophils are seen infiltrating glands indicating activity. H. pylori characteristic forms are seen colonizing glands. Two fragment shows few irregular and focally crowded atypical glands with pseudostratified lining by atypical columnar cells having hyperchromatic nuclei. These glands are suspicious but not conclusive of malignancy. A deeper biopsy from the clinically described mass is recommended to decide upon the exact biological significance of these few dysplastic and suspicious glands.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Hypertrophied gastric folds and a corpus mass with edematous, hyperemic, and friable mucosal tissue</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Stomach, Endoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>H. pylori-associated chronic atrophic gastritis with few atypical dysplastic glands, suspicious but not conclusive of malignancy.</strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong> Recommended for confirmatory deeper biopsy.</strong></li></ul>
