<p class="ql-align-justify">Fragments of widely ulcerated and inflamed gastric mucosa with related dense infiltration by neutrophils, lymphocytes and plasma cells with related submucosal fibrosis. H. pylori forms were not identified in this biopsy. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. Follow up endoscopy to ensure healing of the ulcer is advisable.</p>
<p>Diffuse pangastritis.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Stomach, endoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Active inflammatory ulceration with related fibrosis.</strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Recommended for follow up.</strong></li></ul>
