Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium is non-secretory, it is formed of slightly branching lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Islands of these endometrial glands and stroma are seen entrapped deep within myometrium. Cervix shows napothian cysts and surface squamous metaplasia with mild ectocervicitis. Both ovaries show cystic follciles with corpora albicans. Fallopian tubes are unremarkable. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Bulky uterus.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Panhysterectomy specimen; uterus measures 9x7x4.5 cm with trabeculated myometrial thickness of 2.3 cm showing and endometrial thickness of 0.5 cm. Cervix is 3.5 cm, long. <span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);">The Rt. ovary measured 3x2.5x2 cm, showing a unilocular cyst measured 2.5x2.3 cm. The Lt. ovary measured 2.5x1.5x1 cm, grossly unremarkable. The right and left fallopian tubes measured 5 cm and 5.5 cm in length, respectively, and are grossly unremarkable</span></p>
<p><strong><em><u>Panhysterectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Moderate simple endometrial hyperplasia.</strong></li><li><strong>Deep adenomyosis.</strong></li><li><strong>Cervical Nabothian cyst with surface squamous metaplasia and mild endocervicitis.</strong></li><li><strong>Bilateral ovarian cystic follicles.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia. </strong></li></ul>
