Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">An exo-endophytic malignant tumor formed of broad papillary formations of hyperkeratotic squamous cells with mild atypia. Tumor show a rounded pushing than infiltrating border. However, in some foci tumor appears to be infiltrative and formed of irregular solid groups and solid nests of atypical squamous cells. Cells show mild to moderate anaplasia. Stroma shows moderate inflammatory reaction formed of lymphocytes and plasma cells. Margin could not be assessed due to fragmented nature of the received specimen.</p>
<p>Ulcerated fungating endophytic lesion on alveolar ridge of mandible of 2 months' duration</p>
<p>Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 2.7x2.3x1 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Alveolar ridge lesion, biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Verrucous squamous cell carcinoma, grade 1.</strong></li><li><strong>Margin could not be assessed.</strong></li></ul>
