Diagnosis
<p>Fragments of decidualized endometrial stroma with entrapped glands. The latter are disordered proliferative. The non-secretory glands are focally branching. Such changes may be produced by irregular hormone therapy or a persistent corpus luteum. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Irregular menstruation. D & C biopsy.</p>
<p>Two soft tissue pieces collectively measured 3x2x1 cm and were totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>D & C Biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Irregular gland-stromal maturation with stromal decidualization</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
