Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Gastric mucosa type showing mild infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. Neutrophils are seen infiltrating glands thus indicating activity. H. pylori characteristic forms are seen colonizing glands. No evidence of intestinal metaplasia, atypia or malignancy. Since cytotoxin-producing H. pylori are capable of inducing complications, their serological detection is recommended.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
<p>Hyperemic gastric mucosa.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 0.7x0.5 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Stomach, endoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>H. pylori-associated mild chronic gastritis with minimal inflammatory activity. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intestinal metaplasia, atypia or malignancy malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
