<p class="ql-align-justify">Polypoid lesion formed of non-secretory hyperplastic endometrium, it is formed of branching glands exhibiting moderate cystic dilatation with focal crowdness. Glands are lined by 1-3 layers of cells. Stroma is compact with scattered thick walled blood vessels. Endometrium is non-secretory formed of branching glands lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. Picture is consistent with anovulatory cycle. No evidence of endometritis. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Irregular vaginal bleeding and thickened endometrium.</p>
<p>Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1.8x1x1 cm, including a polyp 1x0.6 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify"><strong><em><u>Endometrial biopsy and polypectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Hyperplastic endometrial polyp.</strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Disordered proliferative endometrium (anovulatory cycle). </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for atypia. </strong></li></ul>
