<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections examined reveal a benign myometrial tumor composed of whorly bundles of mature smooth muscles separated by a fibrous stroma. Focal degenerative changes are noted. There is no evidence of malignancy in the submitted material.</p>
<p>Uterine mass.</p>
<p>One fibroid mass measured 1.7 x 1.5 x 1 cm, having a solid, rubbery, whitish cut section and being totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Uterine mass, Excision:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Leiomyoma with degenerative changes.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
