Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smears show unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated moderate inflammatory changes but clue cells are not identified. Monilial spore and hyphae are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Pap smear for cyrology examination.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Two smears were submitted labeled as endocervix and ectocervix, both were stained with pap.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Satisfactory for evaluation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy (NILM).</strong></li><li><strong>Organisms: Moniliasis.</strong></li><li><strong>Moderate neutrophilic infiltrate. </strong></li><li><strong>Absent clue cells. </strong></li></ul>
