<p class="ql-align-justify">Predominantly necrotic material with abundant karyorrhectic debris and admixed inflammatory cells with areas of interstitial hemorrhage. Residual viable tumor is present in scattered foci, composed of irregular glands, cribriform structures, and papillary formations. The neoplastic cells exhibit marked nuclear pleomorphism, vesicular to coarse chromatin, conspicuous nucleoli, and frequent mitoses.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">History of ovarian carcinoma underwent radical hysterectomy 4 months ago. Now presented with vaginal bleeding, O/E: big vaginal mass.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">One soft tissue fragment measured 1.7x1.3x1 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Vaginal mass, biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Residual necrotic high grade adenocarcinoma, consistent with origin from previously excised ovarian tumor. </strong></li></ul>
