<p class="ql-align-justify">Myometrial tumor is a benign leiomyoma formed of whorly bundles of mature smooth muscles separated by a fibrous stroma. No evidence of tumor necrosis. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. Endometrium is non-secretory, it is formed of slightly branching lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Islands of these endometrial glands and stroma are seen entrapped within deep myometrium. Cervix shows napthian cysts and moderate chronic ectocervicitis. Rt and Lt ovaries shows cystic follicles. Both tubes are unremarkable. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Uterine mass</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Panhysterectomy specimen: the uterus measures 9x8.5x5 cm with a myometrial thickness of 2.5 cm and an endometrial thickness of 0.5 cm, showing intramural fibroid mass measuring 5x4.5x4.5 cm, having a solid, rubbery, whitish cut section. Cervix is 2.5 cm long. <span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);">The left ovary measured 2.5x1.5x1 cm, showing a unilocular cyst measuring 1.5 cm. The right ovary measured 3.5x1.5x1 cm, showing a unilocular cyst measured 1.8x1.5 with gelatinous contents. Both fallopian tubes measured 5 cm in length, and are grossly unremarkable</span></p>
<p><strong><em><u>Panhysterectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Leiomyoma</strong></li><li><strong>Moderate simple endometrial hyperplasia.</strong></li><li><strong>Cervical Napothian cysts and moderate endocervicitis </strong></li><li><strong>Bilateral cystic follicles .</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia and malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
