Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">A malignant osteogenic bone tumor. Tumor is formed of large cellular nodules of neoplastic cartilage with focal calcification. Some fragments show a pleomorphic population of rounded, oval, stellate and spindle cells. Anaplasia and mitosis are moderate. Picture in combination with radiological findings are consistent with conventional osteosarcoma, chondroblastic variant.</p>
<p>Lt. femur mass.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">MRI stated a large metaphysical mass seen in the left femur measuring 16x14x13 cm, shows cortical destruction and soft tissue extension, invading the hip joint.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue and bone fragments collectively measured 1.7x1.3x0.7 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Left femur mass, incisional biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Conventional osteosarcoma, chondroblastic variant.</strong></li></ul>
