Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smear shows unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated mild inflammatory changes but clue cells are not identified. Monilial spore and hyphae are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Chronic cervicitis and cervical erosions.</p>
<p>One smear was submitted and stained with pap.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Satisfactory for evaluation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy (NILM).</strong></li><li><strong>Organisms: Moniliasis.</strong></li><li><strong>Mild neutrophilic infiltrate. </strong></li><li><strong>Absent clue cells. </strong></li></ul>
