Endometrium is hyperplastic and non-secretory. It is formed of moderately branching and focally crowded glands separated by cellular stroma and lined by 2-3 layers of cells. Glandular epithelium exhibits focal mild atypia. However, no evidence malignancy. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Polypoid lesion formed of non-secretory hyperplastic endometrium, it is formed of branching glands exhibiting moderate cystic dilatation with focal crowdness. Glands are lined by 1-3 layers of cells. Stroma is compact with scattered thick walled blood vessels. Cervix show Napothian cysts and mild endocervicitis. Lt ovary shows cystic follicles. Lt tube is unremarkable.

Half the specimen was received: subtotal hysterectomy showing uterus measured 8x3x5 cm, with myometrial thickness 2.5 cm and endometrium measured 0.4, with endometrial polyp measured 2x1.5 cm. Cervical tissue measured 2.5 cm. Lt ovary measured 3.5x2.5x1.3 cm, showing five unilocular cysts, largest is 1 cm. Fallopian tube measured 5 cm, grossly unremarkable.
