Huge polypoidal mass involving cecum and ascending colon.
Rt hemicolectomy specimen measured 63 cm, with attached mesenteric fat measuring 28x3 cm. Opening revealed fairly defined polypoidal ulcerated mass measured 9x6x7.5 cm, having solid firm greyish white cut section, located 42 cm and 12 cm from far and near mucosal margins respectively. Appendix was not identified grossly. Multiple lymph nodes were dissected, largest is 2.5 cm.
Rt hemicolectomy:
