Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Hyperplasia of the mucosal associated lymphoid tissue which retain active and intact germinal centers with tingible body macrophages. The interfollicular area is infiltrated by lymphocytes and plasma cells. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Lt cervical lymph node swelling for more than 1 year. Incisional biopsy was done from nasopharynx.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1.3x1x0.5 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Nasopharynx, Biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Reactive lymphoid hyperplasia with chronic non-specific inflammation (inflamed adenoids).</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
