<p class="ql-align-justify">A benign lesion composed of proliferating fibroblasts, histiocytic cells (some are hemosiderin-laden) and multinucleated giant cells of the osteoclastic type. There are </p><p class="ql-align-justify">scattered lymphocytes. This is the so called localized tenosynovitis. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p>Middle finger swelling.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragment measured 1.8x1.5x0.9 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Middle finger swelling, excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Giant cell tumor of tendon sheath (Localized tenosynovitis). </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
