Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Lymph node shows caseating granulomas rich in epithelioid cells & Langhans giant cells. Picture is consistent with a tuberculous etiology. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p>Neck lymphadenopathy. neck CT scan: multiple lymphadenopathies in the right upper, mid and lower deep jugular variable sized, the most of them with central necrosis, the largest measuring about 18 x 19 x 20 mm.</p>
<p>One lymph node measuring 2 x 1.5 x 1 cm shows a white cut surface with a necrotic area and was totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Cervical lymph node excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Caseating granulomatous lymphadenitis (Tuberculosis).</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>COMMENT</strong>:</p><h5>Confirmatory microbiological studies and skin testing are recommended for confirmation of etiology</h5>
