Subareolar breast tissue showing lactiferous ducts with adjacent subcutaneous cystic lesion with fibrotic wall and lining by hyperkeratotic stratified squamous epithelium. Lumen of cyst is full of keratin flakes. Cyst wall looks deficient in foci with related dense inflammatory reaction including foreign body giant cells that appears to extend to open on skin surface by a sinuses. Inflammation extending to breast parenchymatous tissue and adipose tissue forming areas of fat necrosis and fibrosis. No evidence of specific granuloma or caseation. No evidence of malignancy.
