<p class="ql-align-justify">Polypoid lesion composed of hyperplastic endocervical mucous glands and covered by focally ulcerated columnar endocervical epithelium. The stroma is fibrotic and vascular and shows focal infiltration by inflammatory cells. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. </p>
<p>Cervical polyp.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragment measuring 1.3 x 1 x 0.7 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Cervical polypectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Inflamed hyperplastic endocervical polyp.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
