The smears are overall paucicellular. The background is composed of abundant, amorphous, eosinophilic proteinaceous material exhibiting a characteristic "cracked glass" or mosaic drying artifact. Cellular elements are sparse and consist primarily of scattered histiocytes (foam cells) and rare degenerated naked nuclei. There is an absence of cohesive epithelial clusters, papillary structures, psammoma bodies, or necrotic debris. No nuclear atypia, pleomorphism, or mitotic activity is identified to suggest malignancy.
Left ovarian cyst.
