Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smear shows unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated moderate inflammatory changes with identified clue cells. Monilial spore and hyphae are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Cervical erosions.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Four unstained smears were submitted and stained with pap.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Satisfactory for evaluation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy (NILM).</strong></li><li><strong>Organisms: Moniliasis.</strong></li><li><strong>Moderate neutrophilic infiltrate. </strong></li><li><strong>Clue cells are identified. </strong></li></ul>
