Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smears show unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated moderate inflammatory changes with identified clue cells. Monilial spore and hyphae are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Cervical ulcer.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Three unstained smear slides were submitted, labeled as exocervix, endocervix and exocervix, endocervix, all were stained with pap stain.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Satisfactory for evaluation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy (NILM).</strong></li><li><strong>Organisms: Moniliasis.</strong></li><li><strong>Moderate neutrophilic infiltrate. </strong></li><li><strong>Clue cells are identified. </strong></li></ul>
