Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smears show unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated moderate inflammatory changes without identified clue cells. Monilial spore and hyphae are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Pap smear for cytology examination.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Two unstained smear slides were submitted labeled as internal cervix and external cervix, both were stained with pap stain.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Satisfactory for evaluation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy (NILM).</strong></li><li><strong>Organisms: Moniliasis.</strong></li><li><strong>Moderate neutrophilic infiltrate. </strong></li><li><strong>Clue cells are not identified. </strong></li></ul>
