Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smears show unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated mild inflammatory changes with identified clue cells. Monilial spore and hyphae are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Cervical ulcer.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Three unstained smear slides were submitted labeled as exocervix, exocervix and endocervix, endocervix, all were stained with pap stain.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Satisfactory for evaluation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy (NILM).</strong></li><li><strong>Organisms: Moniliasis.</strong></li><li><strong>Mild neutrophilic infiltrate. </strong></li><li><strong>Clue cells are identified. </strong></li></ul>
