Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">1&2 Breast tissue shows preserved normal lobular pattern with stromal fibrosis and adenosis. Cytologic features are unremarkable. There is a dense periductal infiltration by lymphocytes, plasma cells, macrophages and neutrophils. In many areas inflammatory infiltrate appears to destroy ductal epithelium. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Bilateral breast swellings.</p>
<p>Two biopsies were received :</p><p class="ql-align-justify">1- Rt breast biopsy: three tissue cores up to 1.2 cm long.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">2- Lt breast biopsy : three tissue cores up to 1.3 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Bilateral breast swellings, Tru-cut biopsy :</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Fibroadenosis with chronic non specific periductal mastitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
