Cellular sarcomatous tumor, dominantly formed of oval and spindle. Cells are arranged in irregular short bundles. Focal intermingled benign adipose tissue is noted. Few foci show proliferating spindle and stellate cells separated by abundant myxoid stroma that shows arborizing thin vascular formation resulting in a chicken-wire pattern. Anaplasia is moderate to marked and scattered bizarre cells are seen. Mitosis is active. No evidence of surrounding tissue clearance. Picture of unclassified spindle cell sarcoma. Marker study (MDM-2, CDK4, S-100, SIX10, SMA, Desmin, CD34 and Ki-67) is recommended for definitive subtyping.
