Smears is hemorrhagic and show many small and large tight clusters of large atypical cells with hyperchromatic nuclei. Some of these clusters showing focal glandular formations and exhibit moderate anaplasia. Background shows a moderate number of mature small lymphocytes and neutrophils with some reactive mesothelial cells.
Suspected peritoneal carcinomatosis. History of excision of uterine and ovarian tumor with recurrent ascitis.
