Diagnosis
<p><br></p><p class="ql-align-justify">Sections from both specimens revealed preserved normal breast lobular pattern with stromal fibrosis, apocrine metaplasia, cystic change of ducts and adenosis. In areas, breast ducts are dilated with focal moderate periductal infiltration by lymphocytes, plasma cells, macrophages and neutrophils. In many areas inflammatory infiltrate appears to destroy ductal epithelium. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Bilateral breast cysts.</p>
<p>Two fibrofatty tissue fragments:</p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify">The first measured 4.5x3.5x3 cm, showing cyst 2.5x2.5x2 cm.</li><li>The second measured 2.5x2.3x2.2 cm, showing cyst 2.3x2.2 cm, filled with yellowish fluid.</li></ul>
<p><strong><em><u>Bilateral breast masses, excision:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Fibrocystic mastopathy. </strong></li><li><strong>Duct ectasia with periductal mastitis (non-specific). </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><h5><br></h5>
