Myometrial tumors are benign leiomyoma formed of whorly bundles of mature smooth muscles separated by a fibrous stroma. No evidence of tumor necrosis. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. Endometrium is hyperplastic and non-secretory. It is formed of moderately branching glands separated by cellular stroma and lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Islands of these endometrial glands and stroma are seen entrapped deep within myometrium. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Cervix shows Nabothian cysts and mild endocervicitis with squamous metaplasia. Lt. ovarian mass show a benign ovarian stromal tumor formed of irregular bundles of proliferating fibrocytes. Cellularity is mild to moderate. No evidence of anaplasia and mitosis is not active. Rt and Lt ovaries show corpora albicans and cystic follicles. Both fallopian tubes are unremarkable.
Uterine mass.
