Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Cyst wall shows partial lining by stratified squamous epithelium with related sebaceous glands and some hair follicles. There are islands of bony tissue , mature smooth muscles and mature adipose tissue. No evidence of immature elements. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p>Multiseptated mass at the lesser sac (posterior to stomach).</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">The specimen consists of an intact, cystic mass measuring 9.5 x 8.5 x 8 cm. The external surface is smooth, and unremarkable. On cut section, the lesion exhibits a multiloculated architecture containing yellowish fluid. A distinct focal area of osseous (bony) induration measuring 1.5 x 1 cm is identified within the stroma.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Resection of retro-gasrric cystic mass:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Retroperitoneal mature (benign) cystic teratoma. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for immature element </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
