Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Nodular hyperplasia of prostatic glands and the fibromuscular stroma. Glands exhibit focal cystic change with epithelial infoldings. The normal lobular pattern is preserved and cytologic features are unremarkable. Stroma shows infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. Basal cell hyperplasia is focally seen. No evidence of malignancy.</p>

<p>Soft tissue fragments collectivelly measured 2.3x2x0.7 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Prostatic biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Nodular adenofibromyomatous hyperplasia with focal basal cell hyperplasia and moderate chronic non-specific prostatitis.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
