Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smears shows unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated mild inflammatory changes without identified clue cells. Monilial spore and hyphae are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Irregular vagianal spotting with post coital bleeding.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Two smears were submitted, labeled as ectocervix and endocervix, both were stained with pap.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Satisfactory for evaluation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy (NILM).</strong></li><li><strong>Organisms: Moniliasis.</strong></li><li><strong>Mild neutrophilic infiltrate. </strong></li><li><strong>Clue cells are not identified. </strong></li></ul>
