Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Tissue cores infiltrated by solid nests, trabeculae, and anastomosing cords embedded within a prominent desmoplastic stroma. The tumor cells are monotonous, exhibiting round to oval nuclei with finely granular "salt-and-pepper" chromatin and inconspicuous nucleoli, with moderate amounts of granular eosinophilic cytoplasm.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Immunostaining revealed diffuse positive reaction to synaptophysin and CK7, whereas negative to CK20, CDX2 and TTF1.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Picture is that of metastatic neuroendocrine tumor, grade 2. Metastatic work up is recommended specially for upper GIT.</p>
