<p class="ql-align-justify">Preparations show a moderate number of neutrophils and small lymphocytes with many reactive mesothelial cells. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Ascitis in known case of CML.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Two slides were prepared and stained from submitted 50 ml yellowish fluid.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Ascitic fluid, paracentesis:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Moderate inflammatory changes. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignant cells. </strong></li><li><strong>Category II, according to International system for reporting serous fluid cytopathology (ISRSFC).</strong></li></ul>
